1. Workshop Refund and Cancellation Policy
Withdrawal from a registered workshop:
- Full refund will be issued if you provide more than 20 days’ notice prior to the start of workshop.
- 50% refund if notice is given between 14 days to 20 days prior to start of workshop.
- 0% refund if notice is given fewer than 14 days prior to start of workshop.
- We do not pro-rate workshops and offer make-up options for workshops missed. Please refer to our ‘Make-Up Class Policy’ under point 3 for further details.
- Should the workshop be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, participants will be duly notified and a full refund will be issued within 5 working days.
2. Latecoming
- You are expected to arrive on time for the workshop registered. Should you be more than 15 minutes late, Sew Into It LLP reserves the right to deny your participation in the workshop concerned so as to prevent any disruptions to its progress.
- In such an event, you are deemed to have missed your workshop. Please refer to our ‘Make-Up Class Policy’ under point 3 for further details. A $20 administrative surcharge is payable to book the next available repeat workshop.
3. Make-Up Class Policy
Absence at Single-Session Workshops
- We do not offer make-up options for single-session workshop(s) missed.
- If you fail to inform us about your absence before the workshop(s), your workshop(s) will be forfeited.
- You have the option of joining the next available repeat workshop(s), subject to the availability of slots for that workshop(s) and a $20 administrative surcharge is payable before you attend the repeat workshop(s).
- This $20 administrative surcharge is waived for those who have provided at least 7 days’ notice of their absence at the registered workshop.
- Please provide at least 7 days’ notice should you wish to join in the repeat workshop(s). Sew Into It reserves the right to confirm the participant’s attendance at the repeat workshop(s) at their sole discretion.
- Your class will be forfeited if you do not attend the scheduled repeat session.
Absence at Multi-Session Workshops/Courses
- For multi-session workshops/courses, such as the Sewing Series, you are expected to commit to all the scheduled sessions of the series.
However, should you miss a session(s) due to unforeseen circumstances, you have the option of attending the session that was missed in the subsequent run of the session, subject to availability of space for that run. However, this option is only offered to those who have provided at least 7 days’ notice of their absence at the registered workshop, failing which a fee of $20/session is chargeable if you wish to join the next repeat workshop.
- For Pattern-making/Dressmaking Series: Should you be unable to complete your sewing project within the stipulated number of sessions, you have the option of attending our sewing clinic to complete it. A fee of $40-50/h applies at each sewing clinic, subject to the availability and convenience of the instructor(s).
- No refund will be issued for withdrawal from the sewing series. If you wish to switch to change to another batch, an additional 60% of course fee surcharge will be applied. This option is subject to availability of slots.
4. Private Workshop Surcharges
- Class starts and ends on time.
- Should class be extended because of late-coming, additional charge of $20/15 min block applies. Extension is subject to approval of instructor.
- Additional charge of $10/30min, with every $5/15 min block if you want to prepare your own fabric before workshop starts.
- We do not pro-rate workshops and offer make-up options for private workshops.
- Please provide at least 7 days’ notice of any change in date/time of workshop, failing which a fee of $20/pax is chargeable.
5. Other Surcharges
- Should you be a beginner learner who registers for a non-beginner workshop (e.g. Level 2), there will be an additional charge of $10/15min per pax for any extension of workshop beyond the stipulated workshop duration.
- Our Kids workshops are drop-in only and parents/accompanying adults are not allowed in the studio during the workshop(s) unless each parent/accompanying adult pays an additional fee of $20 to sit in. (This option is subject to availability of space.)
6. Indemnity
- I acknowledge that I, or the person whom the workshop is registered for, is taking part in the sewing workshop(s) on my/his/her own volition, risk and liability. I agree that to the extent which is legally permitted, Sew Into It LLP, while taking reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all participants, shall not owe liability of any kind or nature as a result of any injury, expense or damage that I/he/she may suffer or incur in connection with the sewing workshop(s) participated in.

Privacy Policy
Sew Into It LLP understands that your personal data privacy is important and we endeavor to protect your personal information. Our Privacy Policy is disclosed so that you can understand how we handle and use any personal data that may be collected. Your visit to our website, currently located at www.sewintoit.com.sg (this “Site”) is subject to this privacy policy.
As used in this Privacy Policy, “personal information” refers to information, including but not limited to : your name; mailing address; email address; telephone number; information in connection with your visit to our Site (including any web request, Internet Protocol address, browser language, the date and time of your request information); information which may be available in relation to your account in any social networking application (including profile pictures, “likes”, location, friends list and your geo-location details); and/or other personal information that may be supplied by you or collected from you from time to time.

You may choose to provide us with personal information whenever you visit our Site. For example, if you complete a registration form or sign up for a private account, you may be asked to provide personal information such as your contact details (name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number), age group, and gender.
You may also choose to provide us with personal information when you use one of our social networking or website applications (such as your name, profile pictures, likes, location, friend list and other information described in the social networking application sign-up page, or your geo-location details).
The supply of personal information by you is voluntary. If you would prefer that we not collect any personal information from you, please do not provide us with any such information. Please refer to the section titled, “Purposes for Which Information is Used or May be Used” for further details. You are entitled to withdraw your consent anytime. Please understand that if you do not consent to providing Sew Into It LLP with your personal information, Sew Into It LLP may be unable to fulfill the purpose(s) for which the information was collected, including but not limited to being unable to attend to your request and to communicate with you.
Purposes for Which Information is Used or May be Used
Sew Into It LLP either currently uses or may in the future use your information for any purpose not prohibited by applicable law. This includes the following purposes:
- To notify you of upcoming workshops, special events, promotions and offers;
- To provide you with personalized content on our website;
- To improve the content and the navigability of our website;
- To verify your identity;
- To update your records in our databases;
- To process and respond to inquiries;
- To improve on our products and services;
- To process purchase or credit transactions;
- For the purposes for which you provided the information (e.g., to reserve and pay for workshops, to purchase our products, to make any application, to join our mailing list etc.);

- To protect and defend the rights of Sew Into It LLP or any of its affiliates; and

Marketing Email
If you choose to provide your personal information to Sew Into It LLP, the information you provide may be used by Sew Into It LLP to create and deliver to you emails such as our newsletters, surveys or other email messages containing product and event information, or promotions (“Emails”). If you choose to receive Emails and subsequently decide that you would no longer like to receive these Emails, you are entitled to do so. Please refer to the Section titled “Your Choices” below
Communications to Serve You
If you have chosen to provide us with your personal information, we may provide you with service related announcements concerning this Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or your order, by any means, including but not limited to email. These types of communications are necessary in order for Sew Into It LLP to serve you, respond to your concerns and to provide the high level of customer service.
How We Protect Personal Information
We maintain reasonable safeguards for this Site to protect against unauthorized disclosure, use, alteration or destruction of the personal information you provide on the Site. In addition, Sew Into It LLP will not reveal customer information to any external organization unless required by law, nor sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
Although every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that all personal information will be so protected, Sew Into It LLP cannot be responsible for any unauthorized use or misuse of such information and from risks that are inherent in all Internet communications.
